Mr. Chea Cham Roeun was born in January 1953 in Kandal Province, Phnom Penh, and started his career as a primary school teacher in 1983. In 1985 he became a school principal at the United Nations Border Relief Operation (UNBRO) Site 2 Camp and in 1990 the police instructor of the Khmer Police Training School at Site 2. Mr Chea joined CDP in 1996 and currently works as an assistant of the Legal Awareness Program where he is kept busy coordinating trainees, materials and schedules relating to the training and workshop program. Over the years, Mr. Chea has greatly improved his skills by attending a wide variety of training courses and workshops, for example in the methodology of teaching, psychology, primary school teaching and school management, car driving, human rights, family law, computers, property law, commercial law, election law and investigation skills. |
