Mr. Yung Phanit, born 5 March 1968 in Kandal province, completed his Diploma of Law in 1991. He worked as a clerk at the provincial court in Steng Treng for one year, from 1991 to 1992. In 1992 Mr Yung obtained another interesting position at the Ministry of Telecommunications and Public Works as a legal consultant and mediator to resolve disputes between employees, between employees and citizens, and even between employees and their family members. He passed the Bar Exam and become member of Cambodian Bar Association in 1996. Mr. Yung joined CDP in 1996 with Women's Resource Center as Attorney and Trainer. He was promoted as Coordinator of the Center Against Trafficking in 2001. |
